JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
-
Develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates organizational development programs to advance the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Samaritan Health Services (SHS). Employs evidence-based initiatives, tools, and theories to deliver training with a focus on system-wide leadership development, teambuilding, patient experience, and customer service. Develops and implements training strategies and organizational development practices to support system goals across all levels of SHS. Utilizes principles of adult learning to ensure successful classroom and e-learning instruction, orientation of new employees, building of teams, and coaching and mentoring to improve performance.

Learning & Development is a centralized education department serving a multi-site health system. The team specializes in organizational and staff development at all levels with a focus on workforce readiness, advancing clinical excellence, supporting learning & development, and building great teams and leaders.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, business administration, education or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.

Four (4) years of experience and/or training in conception, design, and implementation of organizational development and training programs required.

Experience and/or training conducting, developing and presenting training programs required.

Experience and/or training in the following preferred:

Healthcare.

Internal consultation and coaching.

Change management.
