  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • Coordinates Capital Equipment logistics for the system. Responsible for the successful acquisition of capital equipment, project furnishing logistics and contract preparation.
  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    • SHS Materials Management Departments are responsible for the supply chain needs of the enterprise. The department provides stewardship of resources and includes the leadership in the areas of purchasing, receiving, distribution and inventory control.
  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field required.
    • Three (3) years experience in a materials management, finance, analytics, and/or engineering related field required. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

    • Experience with reconciliation of budgets and tracking of expenses required.    
    • Experience or training with computer and purchasing system applications required.

    • Team Building: Ability to work, function and communicate on a multi-disciplinary team. Possess the knowledge and skills to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
    • Time Management: Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure.
