Provides work leadership to professional staff and technical direction for the design, creation, deployment and management of data and data support systems. Aligns data architecture to business needs and promotes standards and governance processes to ensure data quality.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology and project management services at Samaritan Health Services. The IS Managed Care team maintains responsibility for production support and integration services for the health insurance business line.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent related experience required. Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or a related field preferred.

Seven (7) years Business Systems or Information Systems experience required.
-
Five (5) years data integration and development experience required.
-
Experience in the following required:
-
ETL/ELT concepts and tools

Database technologies
-
Data modeling
-
Advanced experience with query languages
-
Object-oriented programming and programming languages
-
Query optimization tools
-
Agile development methodologies
-
Collaboration tools
-

Experience in the following preferred:

Languages C#, Python.

ETL/ELT tools Microsoft SSIS.

Database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server).
