  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • Supports the organization by assisting in the value analysis of clinical products and services requested by SHS caregivers.

  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    • SHS Materials Management Departments are responsible for the supply chain needs of the enterprise. The department provides stewardship of resources and includes the leadership in the areas of purchasing, receiving, distribution and inventory control.
  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
    • Three (3) years clinical experience required. Experience in surgical or procedural areas preferred.
    • Three (3) years experience in leadership/coordination of teams, programs, quality improvement, analysis, or operations required.
    • Experience in Epic or a similar clinical HIM platform preferred.
  • KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
    • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to perform group presentations, tactfully discuss issues, and listen to and understand complex information/situations. Ability to work with all levels within the organization, facilitate communication, and effectively document related activities. Ability to communicate to people internal and external to the organization and to represent the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
    • Analysis: Ability to perform analytical and quantitative duties including data gathering, organizational assessment, reporting and presenting. 
    • Conflict resolution: Ability to proactively resolve conflicts in a positive and constructive manner. Possess the knowledge and skills to handle complaints, settle disputes, and negotiate with others to reach mutually beneficial decisions.
    • Project Management: Ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple fast-moving projects with changing priorities, drivers and dependencies. Ability to work effectively independently or as part of an integrated team to achieve a goal.
    • Team Building: Ability to work, function and communicate on a multi-disciplinary team. Possess the knowledge and skills to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
    • Time Management: Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure.
