  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting and hiring for Samaritan Health Services while ensuring all applicable laws and organization policies/procedures are followed.
  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    • Samaritan Health Services Recruiting sources, screens and hires for all non-provider positions within our organization. We leverage technology with a state-of the art applicant tracking system (ATS), collaborative relationships with our hiring managers, and industry best practices to attract and hire top talent.

      Position is Monday through Friday.  May very occasionally attend a career event on a weekend. This is a hybrid position that would require onsite work in Corvallis, OR. 

       
  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • One of the following required:
      • Bachelor's degree in human resources, marketing, communications or closely related field.
      • Four (4) years recent experience in human resources office, staffing agency, marketing department, or closely related experience.
    • Experience and/or training with computer applications required.
    • Experience with online applicant tracking or candidate relationship management system preferred.
    • Certification in Human Resources and/or recruiting preferred.
    • Previous healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
  • KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
    • Human Resources - Possess knowledge and ability to interpret and apply human resources policies, procedures, practices, programs, Federal/State employment laws, labor contracts, and employment agreements.
    • Time management - Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure.
    • Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of marketing strategy and sales techniques to show, promote, and sell products or services. Ability to understand the needs of clients and translate those needs into profitable objectives.
    • Communication - Effective written and verbal communication skills to perform group presentations, tactfully discuss issues, and listen to and understand complex information/situations. Ability to work with all levels within the organization, facilitate communication, and effectively document related activities.
    • Customer service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    • Problem Solving - Ability to identify complex problems, review related information, employ creativity and alternative thinking to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
