JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
-
Responsible for overall leadership, operations, and management of the Samaritan Regional Cancer Services throughout Samaritan Health Services. Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and maintaining strategic and operational plans and initiatives for the Oncology Services Service Line. Directly responsible for Medical Oncology, Ambulatory Infusion, Radiation Oncology and works collaboratively with Senior Leadership and operational leaders in Imaging, Lab, Nursing, Physical Rehab and Research to ensure strategic priorities and accreditation requirements are met. Facilitates inter-facility and interdepartmental communication to promote growth in services and efficiency between departments.

The Samaritan Cancer Resource Centers partner with anyone touched by cancer to provide the support we need to live with strength, determination and hope into the future. Services are provided to patients, caregivers, families and loved ones.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
-
One (1) of the following required:
-
Master’s degree in a management or health related field plus three (3) years experience in cancer related services.

Bachelor's degree in a management or health related field plus five (5) years experience in cancer related services.

Five (5) years supervisory experience required.
-
Healthcare administration experience including strategic planning, budgeting and working with physicians, required.
