JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Plans, directs and coordinates SHS Health Plans Information Services. Sets strategic direction and management of Data and Configuration, Production Support, Application Development and Data Warehouse.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology and project management services at Samaritan Health Services. The IS Managed Care team maintains responsibility for production support and integration services for the health insurance business line.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree required (preferably in an Information Systems related field).

Ten (10) years professional and/or leadership experience in an IT related field required.
-
Seven (7) years experience in the management of personnel, business, technology, and communications functions required.
-
Project management and continuous process improvement experience required.
-
Experience in multiple technology disciplines required.
-
Relevant IT and project management certifications preferred.
-
An advanced degree in Information Systems, Business, Planning or a related field preferred.
