Utilizes the triage process, to assist in assessing, planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating care provided for all patients under the direction of the practitioners and the manager. Serves as an entry or access point to help patients, providers and members navigate through managed care. Coordinates health care services by effectively identifying patients for appropriate care management support. Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient records and relaying test results.
The Primary Care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatric, family medicine and internal medicine providers. They encourage and offer preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.
Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Lab/EKG experience preferred.

Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and/or communicating with patients and caregivers.
