JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Provides reception and administrative support services to patients and providers within and outside the SHS system. Acts as a resource for questions about clinic practices. Handles accounts payable and front office issues in coordination with the clinic manager. May be responsible for training new front office employees.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
-
Samaritan Wound Care treats acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow and/or other problems. The scope of practice is physician driven and centered around wound, ostomy and continence care while maintaining additional adjunctive therapies such as vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience and/or training in medical/insurance terminology required (i.e. ICD-10, CPT codes, etc).

Experience with practice management scheduling systems preferred.

LCH Wound Ostomy:
-
One (1) year experience in a medical office required.
