JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Provides technical training to Regional Business Office (RBO) employees, as assigned by management. Facilitates the implementation of Process Improvement. Provides input to management for modifications to policies and/or procedures.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
-
The Regional Business Office is responsible for the accurate and timely follow-up on claims for services provided at all lines of business in all service locations.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
-
High school diploma or equivalent required. College level course work in Business Administration preferred.
-
Three (3) years collections, finance/accounting or billing experience required, two (2) years experience must have been in healthcare.

Experience and/or training in the following preferred:
-
Basic coding (IC D-9/C PT-4/NRV).
-
Hospital and physician billing.
-
Billing compliance.
-
