JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Provides safe, quality nursing care under the direction of Samaritan Health Services practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor for patients within scope of practice. Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
-
SHS Orthopedic Teams offer generalized and specialized orthopedic surgery services including joint replacement, carpal tunnel surgery, ACL reconstruction, arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, joint injections, sports medicine and fracture care.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
-
Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required.

Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Experience or training with computer applications preferred.
